Michael Bailey, CPA
I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia and moved to the Austin, Texas area in 2005. Some of my earliest jobs were in sales but I always had some financial or accounting duties which were where I naturally excelled. In 2008, I returned to college and earned my bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting from Texas State University in 2012 and then earned my MBA from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2014. Once I obtained both degrees, I set my sights on passing the CPA exam. I Successfully passed all four tests over the next four years and was first licensed in Texas in 2018.
Over the last 15 years, I have worked in various business and governmental accounting and analysis roles and have garnered a wealth of experience dealing with complex issues. I decided to open a small CPA practice as a side business in 2018 to provide a personalized level of service to my clients that seemed to be missing in the market.
